Kelly's journey as an actor began with the advantage of exploring cultural change very early in her life. Born in Northern Ontario, Canada, embarking on youthful adventures, Kelly‘s family relocated to picturesque Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, where she learned a great deal about her Celtic background. Transitioning to the vibrant American West Coast near Seattle, home to the historic grunge scene, Kelly‘s “slice of an American teen’s life” informed a great deal of her musical leanings and personal style. This is where Kelly’s American sound returned with her to Canada, where she solidified her theatrical training in Toronto before embracing her ancestral roots in Quebec. Montreal’s bustling commercial scene allowed her voice-over career to bloom. Now based in Western Canada, Kelly's extensive travels have equipped her with a keen ear for accents and a nuanced understanding of diverse tones. With a musical background and impeccable comedic timing, Kelly Hope Taylor infuses each project with her distinctive charm.
As one director aptly put it, "I f*!#king love working with Kelly."
